1. Psalms by Sandra McCracken
This album is very chill, reflective, warm, and comforting. This is Sandra's work at putting various psalms and psalm themes into her own words and giving us great opportunity to sing the psalms! I want to commend this whole album, but in particular "We Will Feast in the House of Zion" and "Almighty God". You may listen to the entire album below.
2. Citizens and Saints
This band is just a lot of fun. This is a perfect example of music that can be enjoyable, artistic, creative, and theological. Please listen to the sampling below. If the style isn't your cup of tea, you may at least appreciate the lyrics that they have put to such beats.
3. The Magnificent Three by Coral Ridge Music
The thing I can most commend Coral Ridge for on this album is their effort to focus on the trinity-- our glorious God who is three persons in one. There's mystery, yet such majesty and glory to praise in who God is. On the whole, the production sounds a little low budget, and it's not necessarily a style I would run to automatically. In the end, I am delighting in the lyrics and message of this album. If you only listen to one song please make it Open Our Eyes because it is good, catchy, and if you're susceptible like me, it will be stuck in your head for a week. You can listen to the entire album below.
